Aqua-Therm Warsaw
In the 20 years since the end of communism Poland
has never been in recession, and indeed, macroeconomic indexes have
always been positive, even during the global crisis. Today, the country,
stands as a success story among transition economies, with a growth
rate of 4,3% in 2011.
Furthermore Poland is a big country, with a population
over 38 million and a huge consumer market with high propensity to consume,
that guarantee less reliance on exports than the others countries nearby.
On April the 15th 2001, the Polish Parliament passed a Law on Energy
Efficiency in order to improve the heating market and to increase
the energy efficiency. This will reduce the loss of heat in the distribution
processes and, above all, it will increase the heat production
deriving from cogeneration, renewable energies and waste treatment.
Since
2004, when the country accessed to the European Union, Poland benefits
from structural funds, that for 2007-2013 amounted to more than 80 billion
euros. The areas of greatest interest for investment are energy, ICT,
construction and in particular large infrastructures. |
